Which stage are you waiting for?

  1. 01

    Application review

From application to decision. This is the period shown in the main table.

  3. 03

    Document collection

Check readiness and collection arrangements with your own office.

How to read these numbers

An average can rise when an office closes old cases. It is not a median or a promised deadline for a new application. Queue size and the number of decisions alone do not establish an average waiting time.

Where the data comes from and how we update it

We check MSWiA replies in the Sejm, UdSC notices and reports, voivodeship publications and MRPiPS. A new publication becomes an update candidate. After reviewing the document, reporting period and methodology, we release a new data version. A source check does not mean new statistics have been published.

Waiting time questions

Does this include getting the plastic card?

No. The main table covers temporary residence decisions. Card production and collection are separate stages.

Why are some document figures missing?

Comparable regional averages are not published for every procedure. We show a data gap when no verifiable figure is available.

Can I check an exact date using my case number?

This service is not connected to your individual case. Check status and correspondence through your office’s official channel.

Why does the September summary differ from July?

The observation period and mix of concluded cases change. A comparison must account for the source, procedure and methodology.
